British Transport Police has confirmed a person has died after being hit by a train in Slough.
Officers were called to Slough Railway Station at 7.52am following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
BTP said the incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Great Western Railway has confirmed a person has been hit by a train between Reading and London Paddington this morning.
Travel disruption is expected until 10am and services running between the two stations may be cancelled or delayed.
First Bus route 8 which travels from Slough Bus Station to Windsor and Egham will be conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.
