Lisa, Champagne and eight baby rabbits at the Animal Sanctuary

Staff reporter

It will shortly be ‘kitten season’ at the Animal Sanctuary when many unwanted kittens will be given up to us, so before then we really want to highlight two of our elderly residents who urgently deserve new homes. Lisa and Champagne were handed to us when their owner moved abroad.

Lisa is a 14-year-old calico cat, vaccinated and neutered. She enjoys being petted and loves ear and head rubs.

We think Lisa needs a quiet home – perhaps with Champagne – with no children or other animals.

Champagne is a 17-year-old grey tabby, vaccinated and neutered. She is a very cool cat, loves attention and being talked to.

We feel she would do best in a quiet home where she is the only pet or maybe with her laid-back friend Lisa.

Eight baby rabbits are available for adoption, along with their mum and dad.

They were handed into the Animal Sanctuary as their owners were not able to cope. The babies are around six weeks old, four males and four females. They are friendly and used to being handled.

Could you offer them loving homes, in pairs preferably?

Home checks and fees apply. More details can be found at

The Animal Sanctuary is based in Lake End Road, Dorney, near Sainsbury’s in Taplow, SL4 6QS.
