A money bottle filled with change, a laptop and a black holdall with wheels are items which have been stolen after a burglary in Maidenhead on Friday.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for information following the burglary in Palmers Close which took place between 12am and 1pm.
A garden spade was used to smash the bottom glass panel of the kitchen door by the offender and the downstairs of the property was then searched.
The money bottle stolen contains a ‘substantial amount of change’ which would have been very heavy and was in a damaged condition with brown tape covering the bottom up the sides. It was also cracked underneath the lid.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything out of the ordinary in the area around the time of the offence.
Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
