A weekend of celebration at St Luke’s Church featured recitals, a flower festival and a summer fete.
The church in Norfolk Road is celebrating its 150th birthday this year and a number of events have been planned, including an art programme and a feast day to mark the occasion.
Flowers filled the church from Friday to Sunday for the festival and each display was based around the life of the church.
The annual summer fair was held on the vicarage garden on Saturday and included stalls, raffles and entertainment.
The Rev Sally Lynch said: “It went really well. It was a super weekend with a great atmosphere. We had lots of people visit and came out especially to see the flowers.
“The flower team have been organising the flower festival since well before Christmas.
