The 55th anniversary of Maidenhead Floral Art Society was celebrated at the Castle Royle Golf Club.
More than 45 members attended and enjoyed dinner and entertainment at the club in Bath Road on Tuesday, June 7.
Pat Tripp, president of the society, said: “We enjoyed an excellent three-course meal, with entertainment.
“Needless to say the dining tables had splendid flower arrangements which were raffled freely for the members to take home.
“We were delighted that one of our life members, Hazel Mackenzie, whose 90th birthday it was, joined us. Glenis Smith, president of BB&O (Berks, Bucks and Oxon) of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) also honoured us with her company. The entire evening was a great success.”
