A factory in Boyn Hill could soon be demolished and the site be converted for more housing in Maidenhead.
Staxlink Ltd has submitted plans to the Royal Borough to knock down Middlehurst Ltd in Boyn Valley Road and replace it with 45 one and two-bedroom apartments with basement and ground level parking.
The application will include 48 on-site parking bays, with 38 located in a basement car park and 10 spaces, including four disabled, on the ground floor.
On the design and access statement, it states: “This application is an opportunity to help towards significantly boosting the housing land supply in the RBWM in a sustainable location using previously developed land. The mix of one and two-bedroom apartments would cater for smaller households and provides for units which are accessible to the disabled.”
A decision is expected to be made by planners by Friday, August 26
