A hair raising fire walk is being organised to raise money for Thames Hospicecare.
Teams can take on the fire walk challenge at the Grovefield House Hotel in Burnham on Thursday, February 9, from 6pm.
Maidenhead hairdressers Raffles have entered after raising nearly £10,000 for good causes this year.
Owner Roy Radbourne, salon director David Cubbon and three fearless employees will prove they can really cut it for charity in February.
David, said: “We like the idea of trying something a bit different with our fundraising.
"They knew in the salon that I wasn’t going to suggest having a ‘bake and sell’ but maybe they were a little surprised by the Fire Walk."
Fire Walk organiser Katie Beck said there are still places left for teams to enter.
Teams of up to five people can enter and there is a £50 entry fee.
Each team is expected to raise a minimum of £500.
The Hospice cares for patients with life-limiting illnesses every day of the year, but relies almost entirely on fundraising and donations.
To register please call Katie on 01753 848932 or email kbeck@thameshospice.org
