Opposers to a proposed development of six-bedroom houses will present a petition to the council tonight.
More than 320 people signed the document against plans to build five detached homes in the gardens of four houses in Linden Avenue.
Campaigners will hand the petition to Cllr Hari Sharma (Con, Furze Platt) at Maidenhead Town Hall at 6.30pm before Cllr Sharma will take it to the council meeting at 7pm.
Householders said they oppose the plans on the grounds of additional traffic and protection of wildlife, but the applicant said surveys would be carried out to ensure no protected species are affected.
