A 39-year-old woman was found dead in bed after taking an overdose, an inquest heard this morning.
Melanie Donovan died at home in Windrush Way, Maidenhead, on April 24.
The inquest at Windsor Guildhall was told she had mental health problems and suffered with depression.
She was also upset by the fact her mother was terminally ill in a hospice.
In the days leading up to her death Ms Donovan had sent messages to friends which appeared to be goodbye messages.
On the day she died, two had gone round to check on her and found her body surrounded by medication.
The cause of death was bronchopneumonia, brought on by the overdose.
Toxicology results showed a higher than fatal level of antidepressants and other related medicines in her blood.
Ms Donovan had also been known to take illegal drugs and was signed up with two GPs, enabling her to stockpile medication.
A verdict of suicide was recorded.
