The event, being held for the second time, was launched at East Berkshire College's Windsor Campus in St Leonard's Road, on Monday.
Capture your Community is inviting borough residents to submit photos of what their area means to them to further enhance community pride.
Photographers of all ages and expertise are invited to enter in the three categories of under 18s, adults, and a special Olympics section.
Winners and runners up will receive various prizes ranging from studio experience and gift vouchers to prints.
Each photograph must be up to 10MB and taken within in the Royal Borough with the exception of the Olympics category.
