A review of the controversial Nicholsons car park 'Pay on Exit' scheme in Maidenhead was among the issues discussed by members of the highways, transport and environment overview and scrutiny panel who met at Maidenhead Town Hall last night.
Six months after the scheme was introduced, Head of Operations Dave Perkins admitted there had being problems with the system which included supplier delays and technology issues.
An update on the progress of re-instating a mini roundabout at the junction of Mill Lane and Parsonage Lane was also heard.
It was removed at the insistance of Olympic officials but now residents are wanting it to be back in now the games are over.
Councillors have still to make a decision but did agree that a consultation period should be kept as short as possible.
