Veterans, young cadets and councillors were in attendance for ceremonies to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Britain on Sunday morning.
In Maidenhead, the Deputy Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Andrew Jenner, led a procession from St Mary's Church in High Street to the war memorial at the Town Hall in St Ives Road for a short wreath-laying ceremony.
Representatives from the Royal Air Force Association paid their respects before joining the councillors to return to the church for a service at 11am.
Cllr Jenner said: "It's so important that we remember what everybody who was involved gave to us."
In Windsor, the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Colin Rayner, led a similar ceremony at the war memorial in front of the Windsor Parish Church in High Street, before the group then progressed inside for a service at 11am.
