As a part of the nationwide National Trust Walking festival, the Maidenhead and Cookham Commons ranger team are running a 'Walk the Commons' event.
It takes place across four weekends in October and November.
The group is inviting walkers to join the ranger team to walk across all of ther sites totalling 16miles.
If a member complete all four walks, the ranger team will give them a certificate.
- Walk the Commons: Cookham Moor to North Town Moor
Saturday, October 13, 10am-1pm. Two-mile first leg of the Walk the Commons festival.
- Walk the Commons: Brick and Tile works to Maidenhead Thicket
Saturday, October 20, 10am-2pm. Three-mile second leg of the Walk the Commons festival.
- Walk the Commons: Brick and Tile works to Winter Hill
Saturday, October 27, 10am-2pm. Three-mile third leg of the Walk the Commons festival.
- Walk the Commons: Winter Hill to Cookham Moor
Saturday, November 3, 10am – 1pm. Two-mile final leg of the Walk the Commons festival. Certificate ceremony for those who complete the whole challenge.
