A man who drowned in the River Thames at Hurley on Sunday evening has been named as a 27-year-old from Southall.
Manmeet Singh Ahuja disappeared under the water near Hurley Riverside Park at about 7pm.
Emergency services were called but the search ended at 10.45pm when his body was recovered.
Mr Ahuja is believed to have spent the afternoon at the riverside with his family and had entered the water with other people before getting into difficulties.
An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned by Berkshire coroner's office.
