A body was recovered from the River Thames at Hurley Riverside Park last night after an extensive search was conducted.
Police were called to the park at 7.09pm after reports that a man in his thirties had disappeared under the water.
It is believed he had spent the afternoon with his family at the riverside and had entered the water with other people.
Members of the emergency services, including the fire service and police specialist search and recovery team, searched the riverbanks and used boats to conduct a search of the river.
The search was called off at around 10.45pm after the man's body was recovered by the search and recovery team. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
