An unconscious man was carried out of a housing block by firefighters because ambulance crews could not fit him into the elevator on a stretcher.
Paramedics were called to Providence House, in St Cloud Way, Maidenhead, at about 12.30am on Friday last week and found a 42-year-old man 'unconscious and rigid'.
A fire crew from Maidenhead were called to help lift the man down several flights of stairs.
He was then put in an ambulance and taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment.
