A paperless initiative being trialled by Royal Borough councillors has been a tremendous success.
Cllr MJ Saunders (Con, Bisham & Cookham) said the trial to email agendas and papers to councillors rather than posting them had worked well and was becoming the norm for most councillors.
Following the end of the pilot period it was agreed at Thursday's cabinet neeting to send all papers electronically, and that adequate support be made available to councillors and council officers through the borough's technology team.
Cllr Saunders said this was the next stage of a 'natural evolution.'
However, he said it's understandable that this may not be practical for every councillor and every meeting and alternative arrangements could be made.
