Theresa May MP has lent her support to athletes from Maidenhead and Twyford taking part in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Mrs May has written to each of the 14 athletes from her constituency to congratulate them on their selection and wish them well for the Games.
The team includes 10 Olympians and four Paralympians from the area, mainly competing in hockey, canoeing and rowing.
The Home Secretary said: "Nothing could be more inspirational for our local young people than seeing competitors from their own communities representing their country at such a high level."
The following athletes from the Maidenhead constituency were selected in Team GB:
