Knife-wielding robbers who punched a young woman in the face and stole her handbag are being hunted by police.
The 26-year-old victim was placing her bag behind the driver's seat of her car in West Street, Maidenhead, when two men approached her.
One of the men pulled out a knife and punched her in the face while the other grabbed the handbag.
They then ran off towards Kidwells Park.
The woman, who lost a purse and bank cards in the robbery, suffered bruising to her face but did not require hospital treatment.
The incident took place at about 6pm on Friday, July 6.
The offenders are white, medium build and in their twenties.
The first offender was wearing a black hooded top, Nike tracksuit bottoms, Nike Airmax trainers and a black bandana.
The second offender was about 5ft 11ins and was wearing dark clothing.
Police, who only today released information about the crime, are appealing for information.
