A dedication service for the replacement Altwood schoolboys memorial statue will be held this morning.
The new statue commemorating four Altwood School pupils who died on a ski trip in 1988 will be officially unveiled at Ray Mill Island, Maidenhead, at 10.30am.
The £8,000 statue, called The Companions, has been re-cast following a public appeal for donations after the original was stolen in October last year.
Relatives of the boys will be present for the low-key ceremony as well as the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Colin Rayner, former Mayor Cllr Ashgar Majeed and statue artist Eunice Goodman.
