Road closures across the Royal Borough will happen as the Olympic torch comes to town next week.
Roads where the torch is due to pass will close at least half an hour before it is due, remaining so for up to half an hour after it has gone.
Spectators are advised to arrive early and use public transport where possible. But free parking will be on offer in council car parks in Maidenhead from 9am to 12 noon, at the Review Ground adjacent to Windsor Castle’s Long Walk, on Home Park and at Windsor Racecourse
All Ascot racecourse car parks will be open and free from 2pm to 7.30pm.
The Royal Borough wants to collect local memories and photographs of the Torch Relay. Send them to anne.dackombe@rbwm.gov.uk and the best will be posted on the council’s website.
