Firefighters were called to a blaze at an empty house in Pinkneys Green during the early hours of this morning.
Two crews from Maidenhead, one from Slough and one from Windsor attended the terraced house in Lancaster Road at about 3.30am and were there until about 7am.
An aerial appliance from Reading was also used.
Maidenhead firefighter Jon Hicks said: "There was quite a lot of fire damage. The roof was well alight and it had slightly affected the next door property."
He added that police were investigating the cause.
