A lorry containing rubbish overturned at a roundabout in the Bath Road, Maidenhead this morning (Saturday).
The Surrey Waste Services vehicle overturned and spilled its load of rubbish at the junction of Westacott Way and the Bath Road at about 10am.
The spillage is being cleared away by the Royal Borough’s waste services team.
The lorry has also leaked engine oil and coolant on to the carriageway.
Police have closed Westacott Way leading to the Maidenhead Business Park to deal with the incident; however traffic is still able to travel in the Bath Road.
Inspector Paul Beaney, said both lanes of the Bath Road were still open.
