Changes are being made to waste and recycling collections this Easter.
Residents in Windsor and Maidenhead have been reminded that between Good Friday and Friday, April 13, collections will take place one day after their usual date, with the last revised collection on Saturday, April 14.
A normal service will resume from Monday, April 16.
The Royal Borough’s extended waste and recycling contract with Veolia Environmental Services also comes into force this week.
Cllr Phil Bicknell, cabinet member for highways, transport and environment, said: “The newly-extended Veolia contract means minor adaptations are necessary to a few routes across the borough and some people may notice their collections taking place slightly later than in the past – while some may find theirs are collected slightly earlier.”
He also encouraged residents to activate their Recyclebank accounts and start earning rewards for recycling.
*The Easter collection timings reported in this week's Advertiser (Thursday, April 5) are incorrect. We apologise for the error.
