The westbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 5 and 6 near Slough will be closed overnight for five nights from tonight for resurfacing work to be carried out.
The carriageway closures will be in place between 10pm and 7am tonight, 10pm and 5.30am tomorrow night and 10pm and 5.30am Monday to Thursday night.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place throughout the closures, diverting traffic through Slough on the A4.
The work is to allow for resurfacing in all three lanes of each carriageway.
This is part of a major maintenance scheme which also includes the upgrade and extension of the safety barriers and drainage system improvements.
Road users are advised to check conditions before they set out and to leave extra time for their journeys if they plan to travel while the closure is in place.
