A man and a woman were arrested in Maidenhead town centre yesterday on suspicion of being drunk and incapable in public.
Police were called to Queen Street shortly before 6.30pm following reports of the pair having an argument and being abusive to passers-by.
Louise McDonald, 32, from Hawthorne Road, High Wycombe, has been charged with being drunk and incapable in a public place.
She has been released on bail to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on April 5.
A 38-year-old man from Maidenhead was also arrested on suspicion of being drunk and incapable. He received a caution.
