Three football fans completed a sponsored cycle and run and raised hundreds for charity on Saturday.
Maidenhead United FC fans David Cox, 19, and Sarah Lipscombe, 26, cycled the 20 miles to Hampton and Richmond FC in about two hours. Friend Dino Borge, in his early 40s, ran ahead of them and took just under four hours.
The trio have already raised £500, including £150 from the MUFC players and trainers, and hope to raise a total of £700 to be split between the club and the Link Foundation.
"We're really pleased with it because it was a short notice thing," said David, who works as a football coach with Sarah, a central midfielder for Maidenhead Utd Ladies.
Dino and David, of the Larchfield estate, cycled 87 miles to Lewes FC, East Sussex, last year. "We'll definitely do something again next year and probably stick to the cycling," said David.
