The M4 has re-opened after a serious crash caused long delays today.
The motorway was closed eastbound between junctions 10 and eight after the crash which happened shortly after 3.30pm.
It re-opened at about 9.30pm.
Drivers on the westbound carriageway experienced delays of about 50 minutes between junctions seven and eight after one lane was closed.
South Central Ambulance Service confirmed a man was taken by ambulance to Wexham Park Hospital with 'life-threatening injuries'.
Police have launched an investigation into the crash.
