A small fire at the Nicholsons shopping centre in Maidenhead delayed opening by a few minutes this morning.
Firefighters from Maidenhead attended the centre shortly before 7am to deal with a small electrical fire caused by a light fitting in the main walkway.
Blue watch crew manager Tom Woolgar said there was very little damage caused and the fire was extinguished with carbon dioxide.
A Nicholson's Centre spokeswoman said the centre's doors opened a few minutes after the usual 7am opening time and Tesco opened at 7.30am as normal.
