Jewellery thieves are being hunted by police after five homes across Maidenhead were burgled in broad daylight.
Houses in Lexington Avenue, Edinburgh Road, Australia Avenue, Halifax Road and Clare Road were targeted between 7.15am and 4.10pm on Monday.
A group of men were seen driving in a dark coloured saloon vehicle with a personalised number plate at the time of the break-ins.
A gold necklace and watches were stolen from the property in Halifax Road, while Asian gold was stolen from the house in Lexington Avenue.
Nothing was stolen from the other properties.
PC Greig Williams, investigating officer, said: "Due to the suspicious vehicle seen at each of the addresses and the time and location of where the burglaries occurred, we believe that the same people are responsible for all five burglaries."
Call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
