The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead's three nursery schools have launched a consultation over plans to work more closely together.
The federation, which could come into effect on May 1, would result in one governing body, but each school will retain its own identity regarding its budget, admissions, performance tables and Ofsted inspection.
A public meeting is being held at The Lawns Nursery School, Imperial Road, Windsor, on Thursday, March 29 at 7pm.
Consultation letters have been sent to parents, staff and governors and any other interested parties can email email@example.com with comments before Friday, March 30.
