Something 'Simply Fantastico' is coming to two school canteens in Maidenhead.
Celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo is set to shake up the lunchtime menu at Cox Green School and Furze Platt Senior School with 12 new Italian meals.
Among the dishes in his 'Simply Fantastico' range are Italian dumplings in tomato sauce, meatballs in a sauce with green pesto and white vegetarian sauce with peas and red peppers.
"The dishes use the very best quality ingredients that are full of goodness and taste great," said Gino, 35, who regularly appears on ITV's This Morning.
"In fact, they are based on some of my family favourites and so I hope the students enjoy the meals as much as I did when I was growing up."
The range will be available as a plated meal option or packaged in specially designed ‘grab and go’ insulated cartons for students to take out.
Cox Green, in Highfield Lane, and Furze Platt, in Furze Platt Road, - whose canteens are managed by Innovate Services - will start serving the meals on Monday, March 12.
