Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman has been spotted shopping in Maidenhead.
A flurry of excitement went through Waitrose when the world famous actor showed up there at about 3pm on Saturday.
The X-Men and Real Steel leading man tried to keep a low profile but shoppers said his filmstar good looks made him stand out from the crowd.
Nicky Everest was in the Moorbridge Road branch (pictured) and said she spotted the 'gorgeous Hugh' at the tills wearing dark glasses.
Other Maidonians have tweeted about his visit to town saying they got his autograph.
Advertiser sub-editor Heather Clifton was lucky enough to be shopping there at the time.
The Belmont Road resident said: "I just looked and thought 'My god that's Hugh Jackman'.
"He had this woolly beanie on and had his son with him."
Jackman's agent Lou Coulson confirmed the heartthrob was in the UK for filming of Les Miserables.
The 43-year-old will star as Jean Valjean in the big screen adaptation of the musical which is to be filmed at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath.
A spokesman for Waitrose said he had 'heard Hugh was there' but declined to comment further.
