Royal visits to the area are set to be relived at an illustrated day-time talk.
Kicking off the programme of local events to mark the Diamond Jubilee, it is due to take place on Tuesday, February 28 at the WRVS Centre in York Road.
Anyone is welcome to attend and to bring along any photographs of the Queen which they have taken themselves.
The event is also a fundraiser for Maidenhead Heritage Centre.
Chairman Richard Poad, who is giving the talk, believes many of the photos he will use will bring back memories of visits from the monarch.
These include her opening the town hall 50 years ago and visiting Bisham Abbey in 2002 as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.
"The audience will be able to relive these and many other royal events in the Maidenhead area and help get this year's celebrations off to a right royal start," he said.
The talk starts at 11am. Tickets cost £4 on the door or from 01628 780555.
