A mile-long tailback built up on the M4 this afternoon after a car hit the central reservation.
Firefighters from Maidenhead were called out at 1.30pm to deal with the crash in between J8/9 and J10.
They closed the motorway for 10 minutes while the car was pushed off the road and debris was cleared.
No one was injured.
