A footpath is getting a facelift as part of the council's promise to upgrade the town's streets.
The pedestrian link between West Street and Maidenhead High Street, which finishes near the Boy and the Boat statue, is temporarily closed while improvement works take place.
The footpath will be relaid with new materials as part of the plan laid out in the Maidenhead Town Centre AAP.
The path is due to reopen on Friday, April 13 but the work could be completed sooner. In the meantime a diversion is via the pedestrian walkway between 82 and 84 High Street or via Market Street.
