Police are still hunting for yobs who hurled rock hard ice at a train speeding past Waltham St Lawrence.
The driver was showered with glass when yobs hurled the ice slab from Milley Bridge at about 11am on Sunday, February 5.
Despite appealing for information British Transport Police (BTP) is no nearer to identifying those responsible.
A BTP spokesman said: “There is no new information unfortunately.
“We are still appealing for witnesses and trying to gleam as much information about this as we can.”
The ice slammed against the driver’s cab, shattering the toughened glass windscreen, but he managed to escape serious injury, suffering only minor cuts.
The London to Reading service was delayed in the Ruscombe area for about 20 minutes while police and paramedics attended the scene and treated the driver.
Call BTP on 0800 405040 quoting incident number 147 of 5/2/2012.
