Brainboxes are being called to sign up for the ultimate challenge.
A mind-boggling array of questions will test the wits of teams at the fourth annual Thames Valley Pub Quiz Championship.
The ballroom of the Holiday Inn in Manor Lane, Maidenhead will be buzzing with brainwaves on Friday, March 9, as teams battle it out to be crowned winner.
Each team can have up to eight people and those who think they have what it takes are being called to sign up for the last few spots to ensure it is a bumper evening.
The event, organised by Maidenhead Thames Rotary Club, will run from 7-11pm and will raise funds for Thames Valley Adventure Playground (TVAP) in Taplow and other charities. It also includes a raffle on the night and last year raised more than £2,500.
TVAP president Tim Brooke-Taylor (pictured) will take on the role of quizmaster for the fourth year running.
Competitors will have to answer 60 questions on a range of topics including history, nature, sports, food and drink and biology. There will also be music, picture and a dingbats round.
Included in the £15 entry price is a fish and chip supper and there will be Rebellion beer on tap and other drinks at pub prices.
