Maintenance schemes to improve buildings at three Maidenhead schools look set to be tendered by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council.
Projects for Altwood CE School, Desborough School and Ellington Primary School are due for discussion by the cabinet tomorrow.
Should the green light be given, the work - costing more than £1.5m, could be underway in the summer holidays and complete by the autumn.
A report going before the cabinet recommends approval is granted.
Replacement heating and re-wiring at Ellington would form the second phase of a refurbishment at the Donnington Gardens site.
A £608,000 budget would be set aside for the scheme which needs to be put out by the end of this month to be on track for the summer.
Altwood would also be in the second phase of a re-wiring with a £533,000 budget required.
The scheme for the Altwood Road site ideally needs to be tendered this month.
Desborough's work would not need to be put out until April, with a £367,000 budget needed for the school in Shoppenhangers Road.
The meeting is set to take place at Maidenhead Town Hall from 7.30pm.
