Light snow flurries could hit the Thames Valley this weekend with snowflakes predicted to fall on Saturday.
Temperatures in Maidenhead are predicted to drop to -5 on Friday night with -4 expected in Slough and Windsor.
Snow flurries could be seen but it's unlikely that the area will see a repeat of the heavy snow which made the area grind to a halt at Chrismas 2010.
The icy weather is a result of colder air from Europe sweeping across the channel bringing sub zero temperatures.
