More than 100 runners have already signed up to take part in the town's first ever Charity Bunny Fun Run.
Runners are being encouraged to dress up as rabbits for the spring 5km race which is due to be held on Sunday, March 4.
Peter Sands, fundraising chairman of the Rotary Club of Maidenhead Thames which is organising the event, said: "We've already had quite a lot of interest in the race and we're hoping to have 500 people take part.
"It's going to be a fun day for families and friends."
The first 250 'funny bunnies' to enter the race, which is sponsored by the Michael Shanly Charitable Trust, will also get a T-shirt, bunny ears, bow tie and short tail.
The race will start in Oaken Grove Par, taking a figure-of-eight route through Belmont Park and Halifax Road areas.
