A diesel theft from a construction site in Thatcham resulted in the arrest of a man from Maidenhead.
Police were called to the site in Calthrop at about 8pm on Tuesday after a report of diesel being stolen from a bowser.
The 35-year-old was arrested at the scene alongside a 42-year-old man from Hungerford, with both suspected of theft and going equipped to steal.
They have both been released on bail until March 5.
