Ten young people will get the opportunity to meet their counterparts in Zambia and spend six months making a difference to communities.
Global Xchange, run with charity VSO, is looking for people aged 18 to 22 from Maidenhead and Windsor, as well as from London boroughs, for the exchange project.
With a team of young people from the southern African country, the volunteers will spend 12 weeks in a Zambian community and 12 weeks volunteering in Hounslow between April and October.
Programme Supervisor Natasha Samuels said it is an incredible opportunity.
"This is only the second time in the history of Global Xchange that volunteers have been recruited locally and it will no doubt have a greater impact within the community and on the lives of 10 young residents," she said.
Applications are means-tested and will be free for those with a household income under £25,000.
Visit www.globalxchange.org.uk to apply before Tuesday, January 31 or contact Natasha Samuels on 07528 306291 or email natashasamuels.gx@gmail.com for details.
