A villager who was pulled from the wreckage of a car crash moments before it burst into flames on New Year's day has been released from hospital.
The 34-year-old man was left in a critical condition after his black Mercedes crashed into a ditch in the A4 near the Seven Stars pub at about 4am.
He has now returned to his home in Knowl Hill and is hoping to meet his rescuers Zac Wilson, of Choseley Close and Dimitri Mardari from High Wycombe.
Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
