A Londoner has been appointed the new head of planning and development at the council.
Simon Hurrell officially took up the position this week after acting in the role since October.
He joined the council after former department head Tim Slaney moved to South Downs National Park.
Mr Hurrell lives in west London with his wife Louise and has previously worked in both the private and public sectors and been programme director for Ealing’s Building Schools for the Future project.
