An electrical or mechanical fault is thought to have caused a car fire in Maidenhead last night.
The vehicle caught fire at about 11pm in Sawyers Crescent and was still alight when firefighters arrived.
The driver had been in the car 20 minutes earlier and firefighters from Maidenhead said they had ruled out arson.
The crew stayed at the scene for about 30 minutes.
