The Royal Borough apparently is, after next year’s spending plans were branded a ‘gambler’s budget’ by the opposition (thanks to Cllr David Evans for the ‘cheap headline’ suggestion btw).
The council, which formally approved the 208/19 budget on Tuesday, is looking to borrow £70 million to fund infrastructure projects and other development.
Perhaps to celebrate they could head to the newly refurbished Monkey Island Hotel, in Bray, which is due to open its doors in Spring after a two-year hiatus.
