Royal Borough contractors are working flat out today to deal with fallen trees across Maidenhead and Windsor.
By lunchtime about 20 reports of trees or parts of trees coming down had been received by the police and passed on to the council.
Affected areas in Maidenhead included Winter Hill, Allenby Road and Shoppenhangers Road, as well as Horton near Windsor and Eton Wick.
A Royal Borough spokeswoman said the council had three teams of contractors working 'as quickly as possible' to clear up the debris.
