A section of Broadway in Maidenhead town centre is closed off today after roof tiles fell from a building.
A police cordon is in place next to Noctors pub, between the junction with Queen Street and the Grove Road car park exit.
Tiles and debris from the pub roof can be seen scattered across the road.
Police were called to the scene just after 8am this morning.
A spokeswoman for the Royal Borough said the police tape was put in as a temporary measure to keep people at a safe distance. Council building control staff are heading to block the road off securely.
The Met Office has reported gusts of 105mph in some parts of the country today.
