Police tape has gone up around the Gullet in Ludlow Road, Maidenhead, as part of the investigation into missing 83-year-old Beatrice Stafford.
Entrances to the woodland had been seen to be taped off on Saturday night.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police: “It is related to the search for Beatrice.
“She has not been found.
“It is part of our investigation.
“We continue to appeal for information.”
Yesterday, the force issued an appeal for residents in the Larchfield area to 'be vigilant' as she was spotted in the area on Sunday, November 6 — the day she was last seen.
Beatrice, who is also known as Mary, was reported missing on Wednesday, November 9.
Call police on 101 quoting URN 444 9/11 with any information.
